Dr Robert A Howard is currently Assistant Head of Music Faculty at St Edward’s College, Liverpool, a mixed, 11-18 Roman Catholic Academy with specialist music and chorister places. It is the choir school to Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King.

Having gained a PGCE in 2004, Robert taught music at St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School, Litherland, and moved on to become Director of Music at Deyes High School, Maghull. He has also taught as an associate tutor at Edge Hill University, Ormskirk, and provides private tuition on bassoon. During his doctoral studies at Goldsmiths College, University of London, Rob also lectured undergraduates in Composition, and was Co-ordinator and Lecturer on the Music Extension Degree course for overseas students.
